School Description
The school was established by the villagers of Panchirida Manpur as a private school on 11.08.1978 with a starting strength of 26 students.On the first day Mr. Harihar Sahoo, Mr. Bishwanath Jena and Mr. Raj Kishore Sahoo had joined as teachers with Mr. Jayakrishna Tarasia as Peon. Sri Dinabandhu Nayak the then President of P.Manpur was the Secretary of the Managing committee of the school.After a month Mr. Braja kishore Mahapatra also joined in duty.On 1978 Mr. Satyabadi Biswal also joined as teacher. On 1980 other staffs Mr. Debraj Pradhan , Mr. Ghanshyam Pradhan & Mr. Upendra KumrParida joined in duty.On 1981 Mr. Bhagaban Pradhan ,Mr. Bajakishore Swain ,Mr. Parshuram Mahapatra, Mr. Bairagi charan Panda and Mr. Avimanyu Pradhan Joined.Mr. Bijay Kumar Rath Joined as Classical Teacher on Sept 1983. This School got recognition for class-VIII on 10.05.1981. Latter it got aid from the Govt. of Orissa on 1.31986.It become fully aided on 1.3.1989. Honorable Biju Pattanaik Govt. made it Govt,(new) on 07.06.1996.
The School is located in ODAGAON block of NAYAGARH district of ORISSA. The school consists of Grades from VIII TO X.The school is Co-Education.The school is non-residential in nature.Oriya and English is the medium of instructions in this school.The school is sanctioned with 8 teachers, one clerk and three peons, around 249 students getting enrolled in this school every year and its Govt.(New).
